Film & TV sophie.fosdickmcgrath@hlamgt.com.au Gabriel Gasparinatos is a Walkley, ARIA and ADG-nominated director in Sydney. His debut feature documentary, the Netflix Original ONEFOUR: AGAINST ALL ODDS premiered at SXSW Sydney and was released worldwide in October 2023. The film was listed as one of NME’s Best Documentaries of 2024 and led to a reckoning with police powers in NSW after they attempted to disrupt the global premiere. Gabriel is currently working on his debut scripted feature NOOKY’S HEIST with GoodThing Productions. The film, loosely based on co-writer Nooky’s life, follows an aspiring rapper from Nowra who attempts to steal back an Indigenous artefact from the British Museum. NOOKY’S HEIST is being developed with the support of Screen Australia and Screen NSW.

Gabriel also directs commercials and is represented by Revolver in Australia and New Zealand. His advertising and music videos have been awarded at Cannes Lions, AWARD, CLIOs, Spikes Asia and more. You can watch his reel here.
